While our room block is from Thursday 7/17-Tuesday 7/22, we hope our guests use our event as an opportunity to explore a new city and uncover a culture that is important to both Kayla & Halit. If you intend to extend your stay in Turkey - please let us know! We would love to spend the extra time with you where possible.

Do I need a visa to travel to Turkey from the US?
Yes.
Visas can be purchased & processed upon arrival in Turkey for $30 USD.

How can I travel to/from the airport, or around the city?
Traditional taxi cabs are readily available throughout the city and airport. Istanbul is also well known for its easy-to-navigate public transit system.
For navigating to the venue for the reception, a taxi or ferry is recommended.
Do I need to pack any specific clothing?
When visiting Turkey, you can dress in your usual clothing. However, it's respectful to dress modestly (for both men & women), especially when visiting religious sites. Lightweight clothing that covers shoulders and/or knees is popular and most comfortable.
